Welcome to the free development section of 4kb Software. Listed
here are various programs that individuals of 4kb or 4kb as a group
has developed in their spare time. These programs are free of
charge, and are often not supported by us, so please note that you are
downloading at your own risk. Each of these programs (when
possible) has been released under the GPL open source license, so
please be advised that you must adhere to that agreement if you wish to
use any of the source code in other projects.
The majority of these projects are not finished, and may never be, but
each has been checked for virii and other unwanted effects, so they
should be safe to download and run. If you are interested in
helping out, contributing code, or simply wanting to drop ideas to us
concerning these projects, please visit the "Contact Us" page and
check out the Development section. It should be noted that all
of the other projects (pre-year 2000) are extremely antiquated and should
be viewed with a slight smirk (don't take them very seriously -- they
were most likely experiments of one kind or another).
Oh, and if you're curious as to why all the projects start with the letter
g... it's a long story!
